emperor of Ethiopia ( 1936-1941 , also if the formal renunciation of the title of 1943 ) , the first Marshal of the Empire ( since 4 April 1938 ) and King of Albania ( 1939-1943 ) .

He abdicated May 9, 1946 and was succeeded by his son Umberto II . ( Continued)
